how to look good naked!
away from the 'drag queens', i have to say that i have never seen a transvestite (m-f this is) that has had the operation and chosen to fit into a certain stereotype of women. the majority of transvestites all wear the suspected pair of jeans with a floral top and cardigan - or something along those lines. i agree, get the legs out, but them in something abit more exciting to look at! let's make ours a bit different, fit the stereotypes. lets invent some completely different outfits and encourage 'rocker transvestites'!

not even just to fit the sterotype or to mock it, refering to that survey, men like dressing up as women to free them from the stresses of being a man so as femenine as possible.
ReplyDeletei don't really want to make 'drag outfits' though, well, maybe a cheeky few but bowie wore leotards and even the 'jagger dress' i want to make something the men feel femenine in but also look good in. not just a dress up outfit, something to wear that dosen't make them look like a middle aged lunch lady on her day off - we can drag it up with styling, suspenders, feather boas etc..
maybe a few womens pieces aswell, were forgetting they have the same issues - not feeling like they were born in the same body etc, even though it's more socially accepted it's still got to be hard..
